An open of 5232 against the close of 5223 yesterday, suggests that not much has changed in the way the market is looking at the short term picture.
Whilst there is a bit of heaviness in the prices, as maintained yesterday the sellers have not been very aggressive to push the prices down.
All that can change if we auction below 5210 today.
On the upside the levels are 5259/ 74.

Don't forget yesterday's initial balance. Value was created yesterday without prices from the IB.
I was stressing for an auction btw 5235 and 5249 ystday, which didn't happen..
Only when we auction in that range, we will see higher prices.for today it is 5239-5256.

On different timeframes say 5min to 1 hour, the values computed are different. So, which TFrame is ideal, or optimized, or generally used for Positional and Intradays ?

The different values are because :
a) the afl is not a 100% replica of the one at marketdelta/ QT.
b) the data feed is not tick based. Only tick data will give you accurate profiles.
moving down to 5210 again. 5223 now.
we are not sustaining above yesterday's value and not below 5210.
2.5 hours...20 points is the range so far.
Don't tire yourselves now and keep options open.
We will have a big move in the afternoon session.

point taken, am doing with 1min data, cant go for tick since processing will be slow too. MP afl demands too much cpu. Am going to try weaning out from the code the Letters options etc, and try with minimal code. Will tell u if it gets ok.
took me 10+ minutes to zoom back for april till now view with 1min data and 1 hr TF itself !

The view was taken when 5210 broke with vol, but as we now know, the vol was news based.

There is biggest candle at 5220 in 3 months volume profile chart and highest open interest at 5200 strike price, I think there is no short call till nifty break 5160. I m long from 5210 SL 5190 and now I booked my profit at 5195. Now again position build up at 5260, i think this is big support now. I m learner of subject of volume profile, pls comments on above.

To answer your prev query, I would encourage you to be cautiously long at this level.
Market is still very fickle.And do not go solely by OI figures as the above post shows that they change tunes very fast.
We have run up very fast..be cautious.
