I'm done sifting through the various entries we had for the September Expiry closing contest.
Honestly I didn't expect somebody to come so close to calling the series close, especially in view of the dis- jointed movement we have been having over the past few days
But here are the best five entries we received. :

5034 from me, as it is the lower end of that small range and gap down.

My guess for sep'2011 expiry is 5000 exactly, there may be 5 or 10 points here or there but positions will be at maximum pain @ 5000 so my guess is 5000.

Marughar happens to be Zankhu from the trading room.His view was posted last night at 8.00 pm and he held through the down move of the morning.

BTW yday FII went long as well as bought in cash market.. a rally was expected!!

There were quite a few entries in the lower 4800's. Guess the market made us all think that sellers who have been dominating expiry closes would show up again.
But it was not to be today..

I am overwhelmed, I am a regular trader in markets but unfortunately lost a quite bit even after being right most of the times, I am not complaining Mr. Market but it just happens that whenever I close a position in loss/ small profit, it just starts to move in my anticipated direction most of the times.
I would like to register for the subscription but I dont have a continous access to the computer when I am trading.

There is an entry in the top five which I missed pointing out.
The entry was from our very own Girish Desai who projected 5005 which came very close to the eventual winner -5008.
Kudos to Girish too for an excellent projection
